AB  - Rural family practice is a varied and challenging career combining both office-and hospital-based medicine. Most rural family physicians do emergency medicine rotations and obstetric deliveries, while many do GP anesthesia. These tasks, as well as age distribution, educational backgrounds, trips to the hospital, and time spent at other select activities, are illustrated and discussed in this demographic study of full-time rural family physicians.
